Upward bound In Kenya, a strategic collaboration is on track to further develop the newly launched Fahari Innovation Hub. As reported by Engineering News, the hub is a platform initiated by Kenya Airways as a ‘centre for strategic innovation management and will provide opportunities for collaboration, networking, learning, research and co-creation’. The new partnership with aerospace giant Boeing entails equipping the Fahari Innovation Hub with software and hardware, as well as other ‘essential needs’. The hub is a source of expertise, resources and services, and endeavours to unite innovators with entrepreneurs in a bid to stimulate the aviation industry, which, as a result of the pandemic, has faced considerable challenges.
