In Ethiopia, an agreement has been inked for the construction of a US$50 million geochemistry facility.
According to the Ethiopian Monitor, the mineral assessment and research laboratory will improve the quality of export products and increase the country’s competitiveness in the global minerals market.
The agreement was signed between the Ministry of Mines and Petroleum and the General Society of Surveillance Group, a multinational company that provides inspection, verification, testing and certification services.
