The governments of Kenya and the DRC are collaborating to develop their agriculture, livestock and fisheries sectors.

An agreement between the two countries aims to promote agricultural production, encourage joint investment projects between private entrepreneurs and increase trade between the two countries.

According to Farmers Review Africa, the partnership will focus on areas such as crop development, agricultural and livestock research, and animal health and production.

Other goals include developing fisheries, aquaculture and the blue economy, marketing agricultural commodities, as well as promoting youth participation in agricultural programmes.
