RWANDA Smallholding farms dot the Virunga Mountains. The range stretches along the northern border of Rwanda, into the DRC and Uganda, and consists of eight major volcanoes, six of which are dormant. Home to the threatened mountain gorilla, the rich soils are also highly cultivated.
