NIGER Fishermen on the Niger river near the city of Lokoja. It flows nearly 4 200 km from Guinea through Mali, Niger, Benin and then Nigeria before entering the Atlantic through
the Niger Delta. It is the third-longest river in Africa, after the Nile and the Congo.
